COVID-19 Awareness Program
Funded by the Riverside County Initiative to Address COVID-19 Disparities, PVFAA's COVID-19 Awareness Program aims to reduce the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities. Through this initiative, we provide outreach, education, and health navigation services to support those affected. PVFAA has been awarded Round 2 of the grant, which extends through March 2025.

Support and Services
Through the COVID-19 Awareness Program, PVFAA has Community Health Workers (CHWs) who are responsible for providing outreach and education materials and community resources to the Fil-Am community. They conduct in-person, virtual, and social media outreach and facilitate community workshops.

CHWs ensure that our community members have the latest information and guidance from the CDC.CHWs also provide COVID-19 resources including masks, hand sanitizers, sanitizing wipes and Covid test kits to community members free of cost, as well as assistance with finding local testing sites or vaccination locations.
Order Free COVID-19 Test Kits
Every U.S. household is eligible to order 4 free at-home tests.
COVID-19 testing can help you know if you have COVID-19 so you can decide what to do next, like getting treatment to reduce your risk of severe illness and taking steps to lower your chances of spreading the virus to others.
